two months

time flies.... its two months since i landed this city...
it was a quick 2months... a few hits and some misses.
less than 500days to olympic...
quite an exciting time to be part of it. ( I hope i will still be here next year)

somehow working in middle management is a tricky game.
you got to answer to you boss... and you have to make sure your kiddos do their part and answer to you.
but design sometimes its hard to delicate... how can you ask someone to write you handwriting?
its almost impossible. but i was amazed by the sheer brilliant china comrades craftmanship.

its takes time but its possible...

weekend was a day trip to DaShanZhi Art District...
its used to be a industrial area where weapons and machinery parts are made.
Artists went to reside there in the 60s and its the number 5 must see tourists spot in beijing by CNN now...

a lot of weird art gallery...
its have this raw feel..
unfinished and somehow its true to its very own... non commercial for most...
there is a CD shop there that carry local experimental labels...
and a few cool cafes.

i want to open a shop there...

will be cool to have a designer boutique studio there...

times flies like lao sai...

i lost track... but a solid week have passed...
some colleagues from singapore are coming up for some brainstorming gangbang.
they asked me if i needed anything from sg.
i din ask for food...
i asked for FHM and MAXISM instead...
weekend is around the corner.... WEEEEEEEEE!

this new shopping mall is called "The Place"
upbeat swanky mall with great range of food and international brand and a decent english bookstore...
wats most interesting is that is have an outdoor roof projection ceiling which is about a football field i reckon
at night motion visual of all sort lit up the area...
if u drive by the road by the side, u will be dazzled by its fantasia of lighting effects...
and there is a tagline on its ground " beijinger.... look up high"

behaving wiredly....i mean weirdly

i had a dream last night flocks of birds surround ard my bed... i mean damn alot of birds..... pressuring on me...
i wana shout to scare them away but there is nothing coming out of my mouth...
in vain... its like a tv on but the volume is shut.
i thought of something... i clapped.... and i mean i clapped in my dream and i do clapped in reality.
"POK!" and it waken both me and leng...
i manage to explain the whole story to leng before back to sleep more...
the chances of rememebing it after you are awake is really slim...

luckily i din hit leng.... it will be bad...

interesting day out

the industiral view is shot in front of our apartment... quite interesting... look at the far right, there is this sclupture of dummy painter painting clouds on the big tanks...

its 11th march that day... and leng told it is queue up day. this day people all in china are to queue up when they told train and buses... they 5 ounch of effort working towards upcoming old lam pick.

the other shop is actually a lock and lock shop... how amazing to open a shop jus to sell lock and lock.... apparently there are limited editions of this "tupperware" in orange sold here...

80th months on the 8th

this is the day when leng and i are 80th months old...
sometimes its amazing to think back that we have been that long...
she been thru many many pharses of my life...
from NS to my job, from oversea studies to oversea working...
thanks you leng.

by the way is 38 women day today... woman in the office is entitled half day off...
they shd have a men's day...
if so what day shd it be?
i reckon its gona be 6th of september....(69)

back in beijing

was back in singapore for couple of days....
settling my visa and it was a great time catching up with both side of the family and friends too...
this trip is surreal... its more like an holiday in sg. coz we have to leave in 5days time.
its like looking at sg from a third person view... from a tourist. from an alien point of view.
even though its jus a month staying in beijing. we are so used to the low living standard...
wat we spend on the road in a day in sg can come up to wat we could have been spending in beijing for a week,
we missed snowing the second time round. apparently it was really snowing this time of the year in bj...
we are home grown sgporean... so to see snow is really really a big thing to us i guess...

its was a good time to reload all the stocks and stuffs we need...
milo.... the milo in bj is premixed with milk power and suger.
magmite, greentea, essential oil, etc etc...

i got myself a wick NV10 and a canon photo printer....



i hope i put it into good use and shoot some pictures...
