days when there is no sms... and not InTheNeck

the days when there is no internet and sms.... the form of communication is really personal and verbal... a phone call away at least or a date.... and a date will be really a big event when people cherish to catch up...

now date and phonecall seems diluted... flooded by sms and interneck... we are not subjected to confrontation or shameful proposal.... rejection is not so right in your face...

like an email that speaks about breaking up a relation...
or one that tells u that u are fired...

or a sms that write "will you marry me?

its seems abit neo and refreshing at first... a different medium to communicate... but after a full cycle of it... its seems abit senseless...

but we all gain from these media.... we translate faster and more often...

a consolation is an email away... or a flirting one...

or a marriage break up can be caused by one in that sense too...

reservist

i went back for a day of reservist...
not bad... in my new gorn tex boots... cannot spell
and slightly tight no.4
packed lunch was graced with four sticks of satay...
alot of catch up with old mates but i was abit out of place since i dont smoke anymore...
it was good...we make a few "hungry ghost" jokes...

like why will the CO wana do a COC parade on the first day of the lunar ghost month?
and how we are suppose to go collect a red pail from the store to pick all the left over food from the buffet and stick it with a flag of our unit...

it was silly... it was fun... i was paid make up pay... part of my income tax contribution...

ugly people on bus

this girl aborad the same bus after a few stops i got up... side beside across the aisle... almost plain jane that dont caught my eye for a second look. not a head turner definitely...
Suddenly, ( like school days composition like that must use "suddenly" in the start of next paragraph.... she took out a nail clipper and start snapping away... making click click sound...
man.... i was both shock to see this activity and oso quite agitated by the click sound....

she procede to sweep her dead cuticles on the floorboard of the bus..... GROSS lah.....

watever, its trival but its enuff sighting for me to blog it down...

i alight the bus.... the floorboard was bombarded with her artpiece.... not the best thing to experience first thing in the morning...
